Power Profiler Kit II not working

Just unboxed it.

I'm using power+data port.

Green LED breaths.

But shows up as:

Even after replugging it.

Also why did it need JLink_V7.80c if it has bootloader?

I use newer for production products.

Not a great experience out of the box.

Hi there,

1. Which version of nRF Connect Desktop, Power Profiler app and Windows OS are you using? 
2. I know this sounds trivial, but can you try to switch USB cable and see if it that solves your issue?
3. If that didn't work, do you have access to another computer? Just to verify whether the issue is nRF Connect Desktop installation or the PPK2 itself, can you try connecting the PPK2 to another computer?

I tried a 2nd USB cable, same thing, but if DFU shows up it means connection is valid.

Unfortunately I don't have access to second PC right now.

Where can I download the latest driver for PPK USB?

Also not using USB hub, and tried other USB port,same thing.

Hi.

nRF Connect Desktop should install the necessary drivers that is needed to use PPK2,

Can you turn on Verbose logging in the "About" section in the power profiler app and share the log that is printed when you try to start the PPK2,

Also, another user reported similar issue here, a simple restart of the computer solved their issue.

Reboot fixed it, now it's working, this should be part of tutorial.

So why is there a dependency on Jlink DLL? Isn't Nordic chip capable sending data on its own?

Excellent HW schematics by the way! Clever range switching and calibration.
