WS2812 LED is dimmer when using nRF52840 than using Arduino UNO

Hi,

I am trying to develop a circuit to control three addressable LEDs. I am using nRF52840 to do so, which is its power level is 3.3DCV. The supplied power to the LEDs is coming from external 5DCV power supply.

With that being said, the LEDs are dimmer when the signal is coming from the nRF52840 compared to the one coming from arduino UNO for example.

Can you give me any insights what is the reason for this issue and how to get it solved?

I am using this WS2812 Sample Application from Zephyr.

Hi Basem,

Can you check and compare the voltage level of control signal coming from the nrf52840 and the UNO board?

As per the datasheet of WS2812 controller, minimum Vih level should be 0.7VDD.

Please note that the sample mentions that the 5V communication would require level conversion.
