DFU MTU INCREASE

Hello,

i am developing an application on NRF52833 chip based on NRF CONNECT SDK V2.5.0.

We want to speed up the dfu process.

We have seen on the documentation that MTU can be up 500 bytes during DFU.

How can we speed up the DFU process increasing MTU and Data Length Extension ?

You can try applying the following configuration to your project to speed up the BLE DFU https://github.com/nrfconnect/sdk-nrf/blob/788b23cf8e20e9dcb1c5b1325c2142db947efb3b/samples/common/mcumgr_bt_ota_dfu/Kconfig#L122-L134

Hi AHaug 

I've got the same issue. File upload speed through BT SMP is painstakingly slow especially for Matter firmware with MCUboot which are about 800 kB.

What I did is just simply compiled and provisioned Matter lamp example on nRF52840 DK and without modifications you kindly suggested the upload speed was around 1.5 kB/s. After the modifications it became 3.7 kB/s. It's better but still much slower that I would expect. Is it possible to improve it a bit more?
