USB connection isn't recognized with thingy 91

Hello,

I'm received a thingy 91 that already has a program flashed on it by my previous guy in my job. But when i try to use the device and connect it to my computer using a USB it isnt recognized.

I was reading in previous issues that there is a need to flash the conductivity bridge on the nrf 52 (using SW4 that is recognized when pressed), however im not able to find the file in my downloaded sdk.

I would love if someone can guide my through this stage because im pretty new to this device and environment.

BTW i was able to connect and flash a new thingy 91 device.

That's how to build and flash it! When you go to program it, you'll want to make sure the programming switch is set to NRF52 (rather than NRF91). That switch controls which CPU can be programmed and which ones logs you can see with the debugger interface (e.g. JLink RTT Viewer).

thank but unfortunately this issue is not solve yet.

i thing i found the relevant file. but it isn't able to flash and i receive this errors:

maybe it isnt the requested file?
it thought i did download the right file but it is possible im wrong. can you send me the right link to download.

in addition, now i notice that when i connect the thingy91 using a USB it and press the SW4 button. the port is recognized for a few seconds only and then disappear.

Could you go through step-by-step the Getting started with the Thingy:91 guide here. More specifically the steps preparing for setup and updating the Thingy:91 firmware steps.
