How to restore the device?

I have the nRF Hw v1, and it seems like I did something wrong with a Fw:

nRF is recognizable by a computer as the COM3/4/5 device:

And it is accessible with the nRF Programmer:

The nRF Serial Terminal connects to the nRF, but, the nRF does not respond to any AT command:

There is no “OK” reply, nor “Error”.

Another nRF works fine for me.

It looks like the Fw Application is loaded on the nRF and it is booted properly, while the modem does not respond.

Is there any Fw for the modem?

I saw some Segger software tool, and it offers to restore some image from time to time. Could it be connected to this problem?

    Are all of them suitable for the Hw v1?

    As is visible from the screenshots above, the device is accessible with the Programmer, when it absolutely does not respond with the Serial Terminal.

    nrf9160dk_mfw-1.3.7_sdk-2.8.0 [Latest Version]

    and with the latest Asset Tracker v1:

    2021-12-15_cfedfdfa (v1.3.1)

    The both do not work for us.

    It seems, like it tries booting or loading something, that is called as Zephyr.

    The MFW you tried has a sdk-2.8.0 suffix, indicating that it was built for nRF Connect SDK (NCS) v2.8.0. Meanwhile, your Asset Tracker app has a 2021 prefix, indicating that it was built in 2021, which is before NCS v2.8.0 is released.
    What I mean is, those two files are likely not released and tested together.

    I recommend using firmware from the same package release, such as 2024-03-13_af2b60d2.
