PSM and eDRX not granted by network.

I'm trying to use the GNSS-sample with LTE in PSM. I tried to set the active timer to 6 seconds instead of the default 16 seconds. However after inspecting in Wireshark I see that it's never granted. Here is the Attach Request:

Here is the Attach Accept:

As you can see it says nothing about PSM and eDRX and just sets the active time to 16 seconds. My question is what is going wrong and can I do anything about this?

Hi,

As you can see PSM parameters are something you can set but they are finnaly decided by the network side.

Exercise 1 – Nordic Developer Academy (nordicsemi.com) demostrate the following commands about related PSM setup:

AT+CPSMS can be used to set target parameters.

AT%XMONITOR can be used to check the PSM parameters enabled by network.

You can check with your network opeartor about their accpetable PSM and eDRX configuration.
