Power Profiler Kit II - no device setup found

I am having troubles to connect the Power Profiler Kit II to my computer running the Power Profiler v4.0.0 app from nRF Connect for Desktop on Windows.

More precisely I get the following error: "No device setup found".

Hi Jared,

1. I have connected the PPK2 to my PC using a standard USB cable (no HUB in between).
2. I have tried using another cable, but it still fails with the same error.
3. The cable is plugged into the USB DATA/POWER port of the PPK2. The device is detected by the Power Profiler software app, but it fails to connect (as per previous image).

Can you try with another computer, the result would tell us if the issue is related to your PPK2 or the nRF Connect Desktop installation,

I reinstalled the nRF Connect for Desktop app on my computer.

Then I launched the Power Profiler app that managed to detect and automatically update the firmware of the PPK2 device. After that, the device was successfully connected and I am able to measure current consumption.

I suppose the PPK2 device firmware was corrupted.
