How to convert/ format NCELL data to data for cellmapper

Hi,

how to convert/format NCELL data to data that you can use to find the cell on a cellmapper.

This is a ncell result: %NCELLMEAS: 0, “06223A0C”, “20610”, “5334”,65535,6400,242,51,24,1530502,0

I haven't registered for a callmapper service but the one below offers an API.

https://opencellid.org/ requires MCC, MNC, LAC and CELL ID.

I did the following.

Convert cell_id 06223A0C from hex to decimal -> 102906380 for Cell Id

Split plmn 20610 into 206 for MCC and 10 for MNC

Convert tac 5334 from hex to decimal -> 21300 for LAC

This gives me an LTE cell tower at N51.064273 E4.495773 somewhere between Brussels and Antwerp.

This is my ncell data after converting those its showing cell not found , why ?

opencellid gets its data from volunteers going around getting this data and sending it back to them.  It would seem that no one has recorded this cell tower yet.

Currently you can only work out which country and state the tower is in.

MCC 405 -> India

MNC 861 - Jio Karnataka

Are there any other towers in your area, they might have been recorded?

If i enter location name its giving location and its showing so many towers and that above data is also given from same location .
