how to program soft device in IAR environment

I'm using IAR IDE for the nordic development of NRF51822 (mdbt40). I'm able to run the example project which does not required soft device. Now i wanted to move further with examples which required soft devices but i don't how to program them using IAR workbench. I'm using STlink v2 debugger for flash loading and debugging

Hi,

You can look into OpenOCD to flash the nRF51 with a STlink v2 debugger, while I haven't tried this myself, several users have reported that this will work to flash the SoftDevice.
