Where can I find the original firmware for nRF52840 dongle to work with nRF connect?

I have a same problem as in below link, my nRF52840 Dongle is programmed as nRF Sniffer using nRF Connect Desktop - Programmer. But I would like to revert back to the original nRF52840 dongle firmware. I am having trouble looking for the firmware for nRF52840 Dongle to revert to factory.

 Reverting nRF52840 firmware from programmed nRF Sniffer to Original Dongle Firmware 

Please kindly help guide where to find the firmware? Thanks very much!

Hi, 

As my colleague indicated in that post, press the reset button, and the dongle will get into bootloader mode as the production bootloader. Then, you can program the application image you want.

I am sorry if I was not clear about my question. I understand that the device can be programmed in bootloader mode, my question is where to find the firmware image to work with the Bluetooth Low Energy application in nRF Connect? I believe a dedicated firmware is needed to work with the application because my nRF52840 dongle was not able to connect to the application when running the sniffer firmware.

Hi Amanda,

I put the dongle in bootloader mode and the Bluetooth Low Energy application was able to reprogram it. After reprogramming the application can work with the dongle. Problem solved, thanks for your help!
