Searching for devices that are advertising in BLE5

Hello,

I have multiple nrf52840 devices (PCB's) that act as peripherals and advertise data in BLE 5, and connectable in BLE 4.

We are able to connect to the device using ble 4 and nrf connect app. However, I need to validate that my BLE 5 is working properly, and since my peripheral  only advertise in BLE 5 i am not able to see my peripherals in the app.

How can i accomplish and validate that my device is working properly on ble 5?

I tried with 3 different phones and got nothing in BLE 5.

I think i would like to test is it directly, and create a program for my pcb that will act as a peripheral and connect via BLE 5 to a nrf52840 DK that will act as a central.

Any recommendations for examples that uses BLE 5 and communicates as described?

What SDK are you using? nRF Connect SDK? or nRF5-SDK?

Hey Sigurd,
im using nRF5-SDK.

I have a spare nRF52 DK but for some reason i am unable to connect and flash to it(nrf52 USB isnt detected).
I also tryied the sniffer on my nrf52840 pcb but for some reason the sniffer doesnt show on the Wireshark app, i think it might be due to the fact that i use jlink to connect mt pcb.
