Hi,
Currently we are using nrf52832 for our IoT finger wearable gaming mouse. Is there any newer nordic ICs with low latency features suitable for gaming applications.
Ideally we would like similar pricing & size as nrf52832.
Regards,
Tony

Hi Tony
Approximately how low latency do you require?
Which RF protocol are you planning to use?
The nRF54L15 might be a good option for your project. The radio in the nRF54 series includes a new 4Mbps proprietary mode which allows higher throughput and lower latency, and it offers significantly higher performance overall compared to the nRF52 series with double the clock speed, and an additional RiscV core for handling peripherals or other work.
It comes in a 6x6mm QFN package, similar to the nRF52832 (not pin compatible though).
It should be comparable on pricing as well, but you would need to reach out to one of our sales directors for more information on this.
Best regards

Hi,
Can ‘edge impulse integration’ be integrated in a design which uses nrf52832?
or does it need mich newer nrf54 ICs?

Hi Tony,
The only concern might be memories size since nRF53840 is supported.
docs.nordicsemi.com/.../app_desc.html
You can build the nRF52840 and check if it uses more memories than nRF52832 can afford.
