Hello,
When we flash the BLE Zephyr project to the external chip (nRF52833), do we need to add the SoftDevice controller .hex file as well, or does the merged .hex file include everything necessary?
Thank you.

Hi,
It doesn't need to add the SoftDevice controller .hex file. To program the NCS output build files to your device, which in most cases will be zephyr.hex
or merged.hex.

Hi,
Does it possible to flash external nrf52833 chip(custom) via VS code ,nrf connect sdk extension using nrf52833 DK,(P19)
If yes
What is the procedure for that ?
Yes, it's the same flow. Don't forget to also provide power to the external nrf52833 chip(custom) to make the Jlink commander detect it v3.3v, for example
Thank you for your reply
So far I tried with direclty flashing via VS code and j-flash V7.58i tool
I will try with j-link commander tool.
Thank you
I tried with j-link commander as well but it did not work.
But I tested my custom PCB with Arduino base BLE example it was worked(not included soft device by zephyr developed) it is custom BLE stack.
Did you provide power to your custom PCB? Not the power from the DK.
Could you post a picture of how you set the board with nRF52833DK?

Yes I provided external power. Please find the attached Image
Power supply = DIGILENT
Custom nrf chip = NRF52833-CJAA-B-R7
custom board(red color circle) with DK
power supply
Thank you so much.

Could you explain how the J-link commander doesn't work? Is there any error log?
Could you share the schematic of the custom board to your case nrf_52833 External chip flashing as my colleague required?
There is no error log, but when I connect the custom PCB and SW-DP, the ID remains the same as when I disconnect it and connect the nRF52833_DK. Attached are two images: one with the custom board and one with the DK.
