How do I discover multiple services via ble?

I have a device which advertises some services, I want to discover those services and write to those characteristics. However I can only find one service and not multiple.

I have the following code that registers one service:

But I also have the following service that I want to discover:

ble_uuid128_t other_service_base_uuid = {{0xf3, 0xde, 0xbc, 0x9a, 0x78, 0x56, 0x34, 0x13, 0x78, 0x56, 0x34, 0x12, 0x78, 0x56, 0x34, 0x13}}; which has the same 0x5678 uuid as the other.

I'm thinking maybe there is a way to register a service based on the full uuid, rather than two bytes.

I use sdk 12.3.0 for my nrf51802 with s130.

I've remade the function so that I register both services to the discovery module and changed the ble_enable_params.common_enable_params.vs_uuid_count to 2. New code:

You probably misunderstood the API regarding UUID. Could you please refer to this previous DevZone case and let me know if it helps?

Alright so I need to pass both base uuids to sd_ble_uuid_vs_add? I tried that but it crashed somehow.

The problem is that my two uuids I need to use have the exact same uuid but one byte which differentiates them both. Do you have an example on how I should provision the two uuids?

That's right, you need to pass both base UUIDs to the SoftDevice with sd_ble_uuid_vs_add().

As for the reason adding more than one causes crashes, I think it's most likely this:  sd_ble_uuid_vs_add error code 4

NRF_SDH_BLE_VS_UUID_COUNT don't work for 12.3.0 and s130, but yes it is indeed error code 4.

Edit: I found the thing I needed to change:

ble_enable_params.common_enable_params.vs_uuid_count = 3;
after softdevice_enable_get_default_config in my init function.

I fixed those issues now, and it starts searching for the two services, however it only finds one, the first one. I've updated my code above.
