CONFIG_BOOTLOADER_MCUBOOT=y option forces dual bank. I want to use single bank while CONFIG_BOOTLOADER_MCUBOOT=y.

Hello,

as mentioned in the subject, I want to use single bank while CONFIG_BOOTLOADER_MCUBOOT=y. The reason is that the nRF7002 firmware is so large, it would cause an overflow when dual bank.

There are several Kconfig's option that would be affected(e.g. CONFIG_MCUBOOT_BOOTLOADER_MODE_xxx), but they seem to be nothing to do what I want to do.

Please tell me what to do.

Hello,

Single bank DFU with nRF Connect is not supported out of the box. This has been discussed in various threads on Devzone (e.g., see this thread). If you are facing issues with firmware size, I recommend going through the memory optimization guide, which can help reduce the size to some extent. You may also consider using an external flash for performing the DFU; refer to this tutorial that demonstrates DFU with an external flash.
