Qualified Design Listing and required Testing

Hi,

Does hardware that has already a Qualified design Listing (Bluetooth.org) requires re-testing of the RF-PHY ? (refering to transmitter tests (i.e TRM-LE/CA/01/C (output power at NOC) )

Thx.

  • Hi Patrick,

To avoid RF-PHY retest, you would need to replicate the Development Kit's board(PCA-10005/PCA-100004) including the 2 headers P1, P2. Also you should not add any casing or housing.

So most likely your product will not be exactly the same as the Development board, and if it is the case, the RF-PHY retest is needed.

You only have to do RF-PHY retest once for each design.
