Device Manager App closes when selecting my device

I'm using version 2.0.0 of the Android version of the device manager app. When I select my device from the list to do a DFU it immediately closes the app. Normally it would come up and let me select a file and perform a DFU on the device. I've uninstalled and re-installed the app and it still behaves similarly. I expected that if it couldn't do a DFU it would at least open the device and show some information that it won't work.

Are you experiencing this issue on just one mobile device, or is it occurring on all of your devices? I have tested the Device Manager app (v2.0.0) by performing an OTA DFU , and it is working fine on my end. Could you please check if there is a setting or permission that might be blocking the app from functioning properly on your device?

How would I know which setting or permission would block the app? What setting or permission should I try?

I'm only using my phone but I'll try and get other peoples phones to see if I can DFU with their devices.

This prompt would typically appear when you open the Device Manager app.

Please let me know how it goes. I tested it using a Google Pixel 7 running Android version 14.

Somehow the app resolved itself after a few days?

A different issue came up after that but I'll create a separate question for that.
