NVS sample works depending on used toolchain

Hi,

I am getting started in a project where I am using the nrf52840 dongle to develop. One of my goals is to keep the toolchain up to date, so I started working with the 2.7.0 SDK and toolchain.

When flashing the .hex file after building, I get the following output:

*** Booting nRF Connect SDK v2.7.0-5cb85570ca43 ***

Other examples that made use of settings and storage using another toolchain worked, so I built the sample again using different toolchains and SDK up until the 2.6.2, and they all worked, I got the folowing output from it:

I went through the .config files that got generated and I could not find anything that seems to have an influence in this behavior.

The sample code was not modified, and the overlay was only modified to get the UART output out of some soldered pins.
