Kconfig failed: [Errno 22] Invalid argument

Kconfig failed: [Errno 22] Invalid argument: 'c:/users/user/zephyr/kconfig"' is an error that appeared this morning.  What is supposed to be in the Kconfig file.  I have been trying to solve this most of the day.  Prj.conf is the file the error originates from on the first line.

From the screenshot you shared, it looks like the SDK and toolchain versions you are using may not align, or they might be different versions. Could you try using the corresponding toolchain version and see if this resolves the issue? If not, please let me know.

Also, does the same issue occur when you try a sample from the SDK, or does it only happen with your custom application?

Thank you for the reply.  I have been using the SDK and toolchain versions like this for a while with no issues,but I will try.   How do I go back to a 2.4 toolchain?  The only options shown in VSCode go back to 2.6.0?

Okay, I was able to go back to the 2.4.1 toolchain and did a rebuild.  I still get the same error.

I will try to build another sample now as you suggested to from the SDK to see if the problem follows.

It doesn't seem to matter, I can't even open the nRF KConfig GUI at all either.

Everywhere I look for this ErrNo 22 seems to indicate that KConfig file is either corrupted or the path is broken, but  do not see that.  Is there a way to verify that?

This is the only error that is stopping the build.
