I'm using firmware 1.3.6 and SDK 2.7.
I have a ppp connection problem for IPV6. Tables below show connection status:
When I use SLM:
ISP / PDP + APN | "IPV6" + "internet.v6.telekom" | "IPV4V6" + "internet.telekom" |
Congstar |
No | Yes |
Telefonica |
Yes | Yes |
When I use MOSH:
ISP / PDP + APN | "IPV6" + "internet.v6.telekom" | "IPV4V6" + "internet.telekom" |
Congstar |
Yes | Yes |
Telefonica |
Yes | Yes |
Here is our ppp conf:
/dev/ttymxc0
921600
-detach
noauth
crtscts
#noccp
#novj
#nodeflate
#nobsdcomp
#nomagic
local
debug
+ipv6
#ipv6cp-use-ipaddr
# currently we just use the default resolv.conf entries
# because of the read-only file-system
#usepeerdns
noipdefault
defaultroute
ipv6cp-restart 5
ipcp-restart 5
#lcp-echo-interval 0
I tried lots of combinations to comment out / uncomment options on ppp but nothing changed.
Question is why MOSH was working fine with several combinations of ppp conf and given pdp + apn and different ISP, on the other hand, SLM doesn't work with any combination of ppp conf and "IPV6" + "internet.v6.telekom" on Congstar?
What might be the reason? Where can I take a look first?
By the way: Connection problem doesn't mean getting IP from ISP. In any cases, modem is able to get IP address (v4 or v6) without any problem and we can see it with AT+CGDCONT? command. The problem was pppd is not able to establish network interface only combination on SLM + "IPV6" + "internet.v6.telekom" + Congstar.
