Is there any update plan for the ble sniffer firmware after 4.1.1
The 4.1.1 version currently has bugs in the sniffed coded phy. Please refer to devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../493526

Hi,
I have forwareded the request for a new version internally, but I cannot say if and when a new version will be available. For using coded PHY I suggest working around the issue as described in this post.
Hi,
Does it mean that there will be no new firmware update in the short term
I tried wirekshark to read sniffing data, and the win command line ran the python command to read sniffing data. These two tests used 52840 dongle
Also read 52840 sniffing data through other MCU
The latest 4.1.1 firmware has the problem of stopping sniffing after a few seconds
Best wishes
Hi,
I am not aware of an issue where the sniffer stops after a few seconds. Can you elaborate on that?
Regarding a potential update, I ask you to contact sales for details as I cannot comment more on road map questions. Please note though that the nRF Sniffer is an added value tool (since you can use the development kits you allready have), and you should not expect frequent updates. (While it is quite capable it is not comparable with a professional BLE sniffer, such as a Frontline or Ellisys)
As shown in the figure, when le coded phy is set, theoretically the data on wireshark will be refreshed continuously, but in fact, it will stop automatically after several seconds of refreshing, and the indicator on dongle will also stop flashing
