Hello,
Is it possible to test BLE RX sensitivity with Sig. Gen.in DTM mode? if it is, please provide instruction.
Thanks,

Hello,
It is possible. You need to use a BLE tester, like Anritsu or CMW500 if you want to use DTM. You can try radio_test sample also if you have spectrum analyzer.
Thanks.

Hello Kazi,
I think those Anritsu and CMW500 are radio test sets, which allows to test both TX and RX performance. The equipment, which I have now is a pure Sig. Gen, which is R&S SMCV100B. Let me know if you have an idea how to test RX sensitivity with a stand alone Sig. Gen.
Thanks,
Hello,
If the signal generator you have can generate BLE packets, you can use radio test to count the number of received packets.
My Sig. Gen can generate data packets. Somehow it still doesn't work, 0 packet received
I run commands:
#start_channel 2
#start_rx
#print_rx
RF level = -60dBm
Do you have an example of waveform file in Matlab format for testing?
Thanks,
Hello,
''Do you have an example of waveform file in Matlab format for testing?''
Sorry, we do not have it.
The address used in radio test is not the same as for DTM. It's not using the standard Bluetooth sync word. The instrument you are using is not a Bluetooth tester so it's not immediately possible to use that. It is better to use a DK with radio test as generator.
or Rohde & Schwarz can provide the waveform files for BLE testing.
