sniffer with nRF52 and PCA10036

Hello, I would like to implement the sniffer on PCA10036 (I have two, they are no more useful with the latest SDK). I programmed the hex file from this post: link text

I works, but shows only the advertizing session, not the packets involved in the connection. I read this post, and I suspect an incompatibility between the old firmware and the new "ble-sniffer_win_1.0.1_1111_Sniffer.exe" plugin. When I run the plugin it immediately ask for a reprogramming, but I never done it, I guess it would use an nRF51 firmware.

Should I use an older plugin?

Can I have a new firmware?

The nRF Sniffer is not supported at this point on the nRF52, the simpler solution would be to get an nRF51 dongle or DK and use the sniffer with it. You will waste a lot of time and effort trying to get it running on the nRF52 boards.

Fortunately It seems to work. We have two PCA10036, can't develop firmware anymore, but I'm glad I can use them for BLE sniffing. If it didn't work I would have been disappointed form a "money" point of view, but I would not spent any time to try harder. Time is money, again. Thanks the same!
