difference between the partition map and memory map on 54L15

Hello there,

Working on the 54L15 and curious about the relationship between the memory map and partition example. 

From multiple examples, the partition ends at 0x165000, such as:  

 While, when I read the datasheet, the memory map ends at 0x17D000. The difference is about 92K.    

Why does the partition stop at 0x165000 if the chip has more space?  Will it cause any issue if I allocate those memory into the partition map?

This is likely due to the example making room for things like Factory data and settings_storage. You can see how that would be done with Matter on the nRF54L15 here. 

Will it cause any issue if I allocate those memory into the partition map?

Removing it would cause an issue if you need the other partitions. Though it depends on your application.
