I'm encountering an error while building Lesson 8, Exercise 1, Step 3 using the nrf7002dk/nrf5340/cpuapp target board. Below is the error message I received:

The same code compiles and runs successfully when using the nrf5340dk/nrf5340/cpuapp board, as demonstrated in the example below:

Could someone please explain what might be causing this error on the nrf7002dk board and suggest how to fix it?

Hello,

Try including the configurations below inside sysbuild/mcuboot.conf and see if this resolves your issue. This ensures that the SPI NOR driver is disabled.

CONFIG_SPI=n
CONFIG_SPI_NOR=n
