Trying to tighten up the PCB design for the nRF7002 by reducing the inductor footprint

Hi all,

We've followed the reference EVK designs closely and are now in the Pre-Production phase.

The initial development board was intentionally large to accommodate easier testing, and we used the same full-size inductor listed in the EVK BOM—LQM2HPN3R3MGCL (3.3µH, Shielded, 1008 package, Irms 1A, DCR 200mΩ).

For Pre-Production, we’re transitioning to the actual product dimensions and looking to optimize board space.

Are there any recommended alternatives in smaller packages (0805 or 0603)?
I came across LQM18PN3R3MGHD (3.3µH, Shielded, 0603, 1.05A, 250mΩ DCR). Would this be a suitable replacement?

Apologies for the delayed response.

From the answer given in this ticket, it seems like the values have to be kept intact. However, I'll ask for you internally whether some of its specs are less critical than others.
