Hi,
Based on the example of dect_shell in NCS, how can I modify the software code to make the external PA chip work properly?

Hello,
My apologies for the late reply.
Your question is somewhat vague, so please address my questions so I can understand what you need better.
How is the PA connected to the nRF9151? Do you have a datasheet available for the PA?
If there are no drivers for your PA in Zephyr, you may have to create it yourself.
Are you looking to expand the functionality of DeSh to include the amplified TX power?
Best regards,
Maria

Hi Maria,
Thank you very much for your reply!
1.How is the PA connected to the nRF9151? Do you have a datasheet available for the PA?
SE2435L was used as the PA,SE2435L was used as the PA, while QX8614G was used for channel switching.
May I ask if the PA circuit design in the above picture is correct? Our hardware engineer has raised questions about the NRF9151 dect PA circuit design in another case, but has not received a definite response yet.So, it is currently uncertain whether this PA circuit can function properly.
2.If there are no drivers for your PA in Zephyr, you may have to create it yourself.
How can I implement PA driver if there is no PA driver in NCS?
3.Are you looking to expand the functionality of DeSh to include the amplified TX power?
Yes,I need to increase the transmission power of dect by expanding PA externally.
Hi,
I only have a partial response today. I'll address the rest hopefully by end of Wednesday, July 16th.
Thank you for providing details. Since you shared your partial schematics I'll convert this case to private.

This week we are extremely understaffed with hardware engineers, so that may be why your colleague has not gotten a proper response yet. Could you share the ticket ID so I can see who is assigned to it?
Just so you know, there may not be a reply for one-two weeks regarding hardware reviews and questions. My apologies for the inconvenience.

There could be drivers for other PAs, but not the SE2435L specifically. I'll check it.
If you need to create a driver, we have a lesson on this in our nRF Connect SDK Intermediate course.
Best regards,
Maria
