Nordic SDK not recognizing my ClickBoard

Hello,

     I recently got a BL653 Click Board and am trying to program it.  As I do not have a supported MCU for the NECTO Studio IDE (the ClickBoard's manufacturer IDE), I am relying on the Nordic SDK for Visual Studio Code.  I have VSC all set up as per the instructions in the beginner's guide; however, my board is not showing up when plugged in.  I know my computer sees it since it is shown in the device manager.  Does the Nordic SDK not support the ClickBoard?

Hi

How is the ClickBoard connected to your computer? From what I can see it doesn't have a debugger onboard so you would need a J-Link device of sorts to connect it to the PC in a way that lets it detect it and flash projects onto it.

Hello,

       I am connecting it to the USB to UART bridge on the back of the board (CP2102).  I do that with the BL653 header pins not connected to any board.  I have a MikroBus slot on my ZuBoard 1CG, unfortunately, that SoC is not supported in MIKROe's IDE.  I hope that helps.

Okay, I must say I'm not familiar with the ZuBoard, so I'm not sure it's supported, but it does seem to have a JTAG debug interface, so can you show me how it's connected to the ClickBoard on your end? Just looking at the board's HW user guide it doesn't seem to have a debug out pin header for you to connect to, so I'm not sure it's able to program external boards.

CP2102 is not supported.

VS connection requires a J-Link connected to the SWD interface connection pins. Simplest way to achieve this is using one of the DK boards.

I do have a J-LinkEven with it though, the CP2102 will not work?  That is disappointing.
