Nordic SDK not recognizing my ClickBoard

Hello,

I recently got a BL653 Click Board and am trying to program it.  As I do not have a supported MCU for the NECTO Studio IDE (the ClickBoard's manufacturer IDE), I am relying on the Nordic SDK for Visual Studio Code.  I have VSC all set up as per the instructions in the beginner's guide; however, my board is not showing up when plugged in.  I know my computer sees it since it is shown in the device manager.  Does the Nordic SDK not support the ClickBoard?

Thank you

  • Hi

Okay, I must say I'm not familiar with the ZuBoard, so I'm not sure it's supported, but it does seem to have a JTAG debug interface, so can you show me how it's connected to the ClickBoard on your end? Just looking at the board's HW user guide it doesn't seem to have a debug out pin header for you to connect to, so I'm not sure it's able to program external boards.

    Best regards,

    Simon

  • Hello,

Certainly.  It is connected to the header in the attached image:

The pins it is connected to are all PL pins and the programmer for the BL653 can be on the back of the BL653 board with a USB port with the CP2102.  Normally, the board can be programmed via the header pins, but my specific board is incompatible with that.  I am trying to rely then on the CP2102.  The main board (ZuBoard) is programmed via Xilinx and a JTAG/UART port.

    Thank you
