I am using the nRF7002DK with the nRF5340 SoC. By default the board runs at 1.8 V until I provide 3.3 V on VIOREF. Currently, I am using another board just to drive VIOREF high, but I would like to avoid that.
My questions are:
-
Is it safe to connect the VIN (3–5 V) pin to VIOREF if I supply 3.3 V to VIN?
-
If not, what is the recommended way to raise VIOREF to 3.3 V directly on the DK, without using an external board? (e.g. jumper, solder bridge, or shorting VIOREF to the DK’s own 3.3 V rail)
Thanks in advance!
