Channel sounding Feature work on dual antenna or single antenna with NRF54L15 chip

Hi,

We are making the module having NRF54L15 bluetooth and NRF21540 AFE chip.

now can we use Channel sounding feature on dual antenna or single antenna with NRF54L15  ? Module_nRF54L15_nRF21540 PCB ANT V1-0.pdf

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us. 
Yes you can use channel sounding on nRF54L15. But please note that you cannot use FEM when using channel sounding. This is due strict timing requirement of channel sounding. However you can use external switches to support multiple antenna for channel sounding and then allocates GPIOs to control the switch for selecting the antennas. For this conditions the switch must be fast enough to not violate channel sounding timing requirements (it should switch the antennas in less than 6 us).
