Commands to set RF test

Dear Nordic,

I got some AT commands here <https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/ref_at_commands_nrf91x1/page/REF/at_commands/production_test/xrftest_tx_set.html> to know that AT%XRFTEST=<test>,<operation>[,<param0>,<param1>,<param2>], this set command controls the RF transmitter. This command is to let the Dev Kit transmit the RF signal, and the signal is modulation signal, right? may I know if there is some other commands which can let the Dev Kit transmit out Continuous Sine Wave signal and receive CSW signal?

Thank you so much!

Best regards,

Hansen Wei

  • Hi,

This command is to let the Dev Kit transmit the RF signal, and the signal is modulation signal, right?

The signal sent by this command in the normal modem firmware is a Carrier Wave signal (link). I don't think there should be any modulation while transmitting with that command.

may I know if there is some other commands which can let the Dev Kit transmit out Continuous Sine Wave signal and receive CSW signal?

%XRFTEST in the normal modem firmware has very few parameters because it was made as an easy-to-use command. If you need more parameters you can always use the PTI modem firmware which has a more complete %XRFTEST command with a lot more parameters.

I hope I was able to help you.
