max no. of devices for ios 7

Hi,

Sorry, it looks like a ios question. We found that when connected ~10 or more 51822 devices, the iOS BLE will malfunction. We can no longer connect new device to the iOS. We have to reset the iOS settings and connect again. Are there any information Nordic could share about the max connections on iOS? We found the malfunction problem even we choose forget this device from bluetooth menu for all devices.

This depend very much on your interval settings and data throughput, but 10 seems to be a reasonable number: lists.apple.com/.../msg00093.html

Is there any good way of making a calculation on the number of devices that you can support with respect to their connection intervals and notifications - under perfect radio conditions.

I'd like to figure this out, as I might have more than 100 sensors within a radius of 50 meters, and they will all have a connection interval of probably 50ms. If this is a problem I might need to go for a solution with dynamic connection intervals and variable sampling rates. But if we say that only reach 10 meters in open air, the maximum number of devices within a 10 meter radius will probably be around 25.
