Power consumption on BLE ON OFF

Am using NRF52,S132 softdevice

I took the answer by Ole in the above question as my reference . According to this once I stop advertising and disconnect from any device BLE is completely off. but i could not see any change in power consumption n that case. Should I do anything more than that to turn off RADIO completely?

49.33mA is above what is possible with the nRF52. When in a connection or advertising you should normally see less than 1mA average current consumption. You are sure that the change is not so small that you don't register it? What connection parameters and advertising interval do you use? You can check the estimated current consumption with this online tool.
