run spi master example, how to know the data is received

Hi there, this problem may extend the scope, as it relates the SPI slave device (atmel winc1500). When I run the SPI master example, I can see the data transmitted on oscilloscope, but I don't know whether the data is received or not. According to the datasheet, the SPI slave should send back an ACK after the transmission, is this the direction I should go? i.e. measure the voltage of the corresponding pin?

Unlike I2C, SPI has no definition of what an "ACK" is.

So you must first determine (from the datasheet) what, exactly, "send back an ACK" actually means - and look for that happening!

You might also see if there is a corresponding "NACK" ("negative" acknowledge)
