Right NRF chip for production?

Hi I am checking out NRF51822, NRF24LU and NRF24LE1.

Below are my design requirements:

  1. Smaller the size, the better. 7x7mm is OK. prefer smaller.
  2. Lower power.. I will be running on 2 hearing aid batteries (size 13). Need to last 2years.
  3. Transmitter will only use I2C interface.
  4. Receiver will only use Serial interface.
  5. Not much of processing power needed. On receiver it may be useful. But not needed.
  6. the chip will wake up 10times a day. for 10sec.. and go to sleep.
  7. Price is very important.

I see following prices

NRF51 is $2 in bulk. $5 each.

NRF24LE1 is $2.5 in bulk and $6each. (Not sure why it is more expensive)

NRF24LU1 is $3 in bulk and $6each.

Sizes:

NRF51 WL-CSP is only 4x4mm

Thanks Ash
