What is the lowest possible power consumption with Softdevice & App_timer enabled

I am trying to figure out if I need to disable the softdevice to get the power numbers in to the single-digit uA range.

With the softdevice loaded/enabled, but with the BLE not transmitting or advertising, and the app_timer running, what is the theoretical minimum current consumption for said configuration. Naturally I am disabling the power to all peripherals not used by either of the above mentioned modules.

So to get under 10uA power consumption, does Softdevice need to be disabled? I am running version 10.x, NRF51822.

I am not a Nordic employee and not an expert. But paraphrasing an official answer in the second thread: you do need to stop advertising and stop any connections, but you don't need to "disable" the SoftDevice.

Then your current should be 1.9uA as described in the first thread (since mcu sleeps system ON but the app_timer uses the RTC (counter) off the LFRC (32khz crystal oscillator/clock).

I agree with Butch. When you don't do advertising, scanning or connection, the softdevice won't consume any power (why should it ? ). So, you simply calculate power consumption base on the peripheral you use.
