nRF52 SDK for Thread

We are in the process off procuring a project using nRF52, and I need to find out some important things. Are there any costs in using any of the libraries or SDKs from Nordic, for example, the SDK Thread?

For the compiler you can use GCC instead of Keil and IAR if you want to safe for license, it works very well.
