nRF52 SDK for Thread

Good day All,

We are in the process off procuring a project using nRF52, and I need to find out some important things. Are there any costs in using any of the libraries or SDKs from Nordic, for example, the SDK Thread?

Sincerely,

Roger

  • Hi,

The Nordic SoftDevices and SDK libraries, including the Thread SDK, can be used free of charge. They are provided for free to anyone using our chips.

There are several tools that are not size limited, such as GCC and Segger Embedded Studio. You can find a tutorial on setting up GCC with Eclipse here, and a guide for setting up Segger Embedded Studio here.
