EDIT: The nRF24L01+ EVKIT does not run properly on Windows 7 and newer, due to the 3rd-party USB controller chip on the devkit being unsupported. Only Windows XP is supported. Sorry for the inconvenience

If you are interested in a newer chip, I would recommending looking into the nRF52832.

I would typically first check with the XP VM that is bundled as part of Win 7, so this is available free of charge. See www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx (Windows XP Mode for Windows 7)

I have been running a XP virtual machine in the win10, but still prompted USB connection error, I think if USB driver is not installed or the host computer program only supports XP system.What do you think? I really need your suggestion.Thank you very much.

Can you test the USB settings by doing some simple tests:

1. Test if you can access a mass storage USB device inside Win XP in the VM
2. Test a device with a custom USB driver to see if it is accessible inside Win XP in the VM. You will need to manage the setting in the VM to get the USB ports routed to the VM, so check that first and then look at the nRF drivers after that.
