52_DK firmware load with PPK attached

I tried every configuration I can think of to reload firmware on the DK with JLINK drive when PPK is piggybacked. The only way I can get the firmware to load on the DK is to remove the PPK board, jumper the power leads and load the firmware. Then I reconnect the PPK and launch the software.

I am sure I am doing something wrong as this cannot be the planned way to use the PPK. Can I get some advice? Should I use a different loader?

There is a switch on the PPK to allow programming of the DK.

The switch you want to toggle is the Segger J-Link select switch mentioned in Figure 1 here. Also, remember to setup the PPK like normal. The only thing you are changing is toggling the COM switch from DK to EXT.
