"No device detected" in nRFgo studio (can't flash S110)

Hi, I'm trying to flash the S110 onto my nrf51822 SoC, but nRFgo gives me the following error. (Also, hitting recover just gives me an error: "an error condition was detected in the JLinkARM DLL"). image description

I am using a standalone J-Link plus debugger with only the SWD pins connected to the SoC. image description

EDIT: This is a brand new chip. This is the first time I am attempting to connect to it.

  • Hi Guys,

I am facing a similar issue. Has anyone found solution for this.

I have custom board with nrf51822. I am trying to flash it using Jlink Plus Programmer/debugger(Same as the one shown above). But neither of KEIL or nRFgo studio is detecting the device.

We are connecting Jlink to custom board using Tag-Connect TC2030 -CTX-20-NL

Can you kindly suggest where we are going wrong ? Jlink is detected by both nRFgo and KEIL.

Is there any document which explains programming of nRF51822 with JLink programmer/debugger ?

What settings/configurations need to be to program a nRF51822 chip using JLink Plus.

As per my understanding we need to connect

    1. SWDIO
    2. SWDCLK
    3. VCC
    4. GND of programmer to nRF51822 lines

    Thanks in advance
