PPK with nRF52840 PDK flat line

I'm attempting to use the PPK with the nRF52840 PDK with no success.  I'm getting nothing running the nRF Connect with the Power Profiler.  Configuration is as follows:

nRF52840 PDK running Blinky Example.  Can scan and connect with an Android tablet running the Blinky app. (PPK run with Blinky advertising, not connected).

SB40 and SB41 are cut.

PDK connected and powered via USB cable on J2.  

PPK configured with SW2 = DK, SW4 = DK, SW3 = DK.  nRF Connect can see the PPK, connect via the COM port, and start the Power Profiler.  Log messages indicate averaging start and triggering started.

Any ideas what to do?

As some additional information, I have PPK model PCA63511 Rev. 1.1.0  just purchased with the nRF52840 PDK PCA10056 0.9.3.

I tried a single trigger at on the PPK at 1 mA, and it just says "Waiting".  I switched to 1uA and got the same thing.  This seems to me to indicate the PDK is not getting connected.  I have another BLE board I will try to connect as an external DUT to verify the PPK is showing any signs of being able to measure something.
