Your dual antenna arrangement won't work unless you lay it out correctly.
Can you be more specific as to the arrangement issues? Did you notice the placement of the LNA's behind the splitters, these would be more effective in front yes?
What LNA are you referring to? There isn't one on your design. I see two antennae slapped together with some caps. That won't work.
The idea is probably to populate only one of the caps to be able to change the antenna without a PCB re-spin.
Even so they would still need to do the layout correctly or they will get a open stub on the line.
Their antenna measurements stated that both elements were active at the same time. Due to the poor match their antenna efficiency was -8dB which is 6dB down from the antenna spec. Or another way to look at it is, they just halved their range.
I think they really think they can put two antennae together like that. Earlier they referred to it as a splitter.
