UART example with light switch client error

Hi,

I merged UART example from nrf5 sdk v14.2 with light switch client example from mesh sdk v1.0.1, i have 2 boards client board which is nrf52832 and server board which is a custom board 

when i debug light switch client, it stucks, as shown below 

Any help please

What I see from the screenshot is that the example is running. In what way is it stuck?

Debugging stops in line 546 ERROR CHECK and the client board doesn't send anything

In that case, the code should end up in app_error_handler() in nrf_mesh_sdk.c. Can you try setting a breakpoint in that function, and see what the error_code is? (Also, line_number and filename would be useful as that will confirm that the error happens on that exact location.)

Now i have this 

and in nRFgo studio i don't see any softdevice region, the light switch example uses softdevice but uart example doesn't, i don't know where is the problem? please help me

I am very sorry for not getting back to you earlier.

I do not know if you found a solution, but in any case I would advise you to use nRF5 SDK for Mesh v2.0.1, as that version is qualified with the Bluetooth SIG. It is also easier to combine Mesh and non-mesh SDK in that version, see Coexistence with nRF5 SDK BLE functionality.

If you still want to stick to v1.0.1 (not recommended) then we do have a couple of examples where ble_app_uart is mixed with mesh, in the How to add mesh into nRF4 SDK v14.1 BLE application thread. It may be better using that as a starting point.
