What are the various applications that can be done using the color sensor of Nordic Thingy:52?

Is there any project idea that we can implement using the color sensor of nordic thingy:52.I have used apps like nordic thingy in my android device and nrf connect app.Using those,I was only able to change the color of the thingy according to the hex code sent in the app.I wanted to know if there is any good project idea that can be implemented using hardware as well along with the thingy.

Are you trying to find a good thesis topic? I worked long time ago on Thingy to make it work with Thread, but not sure what you are trying to do here.

Actually I wanted to do a project where if I keep the Thingy on a surface,the thingy led shows the color of that surface automatically.I have the development kit nrf52832 but I don't have any idea how to program it for this particular project.

sorry for the late reply. This you can achieve on Thingy using its color sensor

The specification of this sensor you can find here.

You need to download the Thingy SDK and understand how the LEDs are controlled and use this sensor output to control the LED RGB value.
