Phones supporting DLE

Does anyone know where I can find a list of which phones/tablets support Data Length Extension (DLE)?

We are finding that many budget phones (e.g. Motorola G6, Samsung Galaxy J7, Asus Zenphone V, and LG K20V) do not support this feature of BLE 4.2 even though they are running Android 7 or 8.

Great site. The issue we've found is that BLE 4.2 devices "may support" DLE and not "must support" so a number of BLE 4.2 Devices we've tested reject a DLE request.

DLE is not a mandatory feature in BLE 4.2. So unfortunately, I don’t think there exist such a list. But, Samsung Galaxy S8, and other high-end phones supports DLE.

Sorry, I should have read the question more closely. I guess the DLE extension is optional since it might require a hardware change much like how long range mode is optional for Bluetooth 5. Maybe we could make a more detailed list so we can document which phones will perform best with the product we are designing rather than tell customers to get a new flagship class phone.

Google Pixel 1 phones support DLE.
