I can see my nRF dongle on nRF connect mobile application but not on nRF Mesh mobile application

I flashed the Mesh serial hex file on nRF52840 dongle. I can see my dongle on nRF connect mobile application but not on nRF Mesh mobile application. So do I need the development kit for this? I want to broadcast message from one mobile to all other mobile connected in the network. So how do I configure the dongles and mobile phones so that they come in a same network.
