Thingy 52 PCM response

Hello, 

I've been evaluating the PDM hardware driver for the nRF52832, and the PCM output of Thingy. I've found that, for certain impulses at the input of the microphone, the PCM output signal results overdamped and this generates some seconds of distorted audio. 

I think that a high pass filter wich removes frequencies under 10/20 Hz would mitigate this effect. Is there any plan to include something like that within the PDM driver?

As of today, there are no plans to include a high pass filter to mitigate the effect you have shown. What you could do is include an issue on Github here. The team does update the FW every once in a while, so they may consider fixing this issue. You could naturally also update the PDM driver & implement the filter yourself if you want.
