How do you recommend to analyze nrf52840 dongle power consumption?
What I have is:
- Nrf52840 dongle
- Nrf52DK
- Nrf6707 profiler kit
How can these be used together to test power consumption using the dongle 5V USB connector?

Use a sharp knife to carefully cut an USB extension cable. You only want to cut the +5V VBUS line - leave the data and GND intact.
Now you can use any multimeter to measure the +5V supply current into the dongle.
The DK and profiler kit only supports up to 3.6V, which is not enough for USB VBUS.

Sorry, using a multimeter is not useful in my case. I need precise current consumption analysis (in the order of few mAh,10 max) of ble events (high frequency) over long period of time.
I would like to find a way of reusing the great nrf6707 if this is possible
